Bill Permar
Bill Permar has over 35 years of experience in working with small business and individuals in handling their financial concerns. Bill received a BA in Accounting from the University of Maryland in 1972. Two years later he passed the CPA exam in Maryland. Bill has worked both in public accounting and private business. He has been Treasure/CFO of the California Wine Association, A chain of retail bouquet stores, an insurance company and other firms. Bill has had hands on experience with computer accounting since 1970. He purchased the IBM PC the first month it was sold and was a regular user of version one Quicken and QuickBooks.
Bill's an avid sailor, racing in 3 transpacs to Hawaii and at least 50 times around the Farallon Islands). Bills first office in Marin was in Sausalito He married and move to San Anselmo in 1988. He moved his accounting practice from Sausalito in 2000.
Bill has since turned in his sailor’s hat for a whistle and and is now coaching local kids in soccer.
Bill is very active in the local Community. He was the treaMarin sury of the Wade Thomas parent association for 6 years, directed the lunch intramural sports program at White Hill and is currently member of the Drake leadership council. He is a member of several community organizations: the Ross Valley Rotary (past community service board chair), San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce, and American Legion Post 179 (past Adjutant and finance Officer). He was a deacon for and is a current member of the finance committee for the first Presbyterian Church of San Anselmo.

Adrienne Hale
The first lady of taxes in Marin, Adrienne went to work at the first H & R Block Franchise in Marin in 1965. Later, she married her boss, a CPA and has been tax demystifying and IRS defying ever since. She became Enrolled To Practice Before the IRS (EA) in 1986.
In addition to working with Permar & Co, Adrienne is the CFO of San Anselmo Auto Body, own and operated by her son. As nice as the weather is here, Adrienne likes to spend spring time in Italy.
